Good Movies

“Look, in my opinion the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what-have-you. The right person is still going to think the sun shines out of your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.” ~Juno

That pretty much describes Chad and I.

That’s exactly what I think of my fiance.

Mr. and Mrs. Lytle's Rehearsal Dinner

Mr. and Mrs. Lytle's Rehearsal Dinner

Chad was a groomsman for his good friend Darrin at the end of this past summer (2008). This picture is from the rehearsal diner the night before. I remember Chad said as he sat with me at the table (after a day of drinking),  “I think our wedding should be in October…”I thought to my sober self, I hope he’s serious”. Little did I know how serious!  Although it was a wonderful proposal and it is beautiful ring, I will always hold dearest the moment that I knew Chad meant always and forever. It was a Sunday. Two days after our engagement. We were sitting on the couch, discussing our life (as we often do), wedding plans poured from his mouth with such ease and pride. He knew he wanted to be with me forever, he was thinking about it as much as I was. Tears poured down my face (first time since the ring was put on my finger), tears of  joy and peace. I found my lobster!
